Time management strategies for the GMAT
When it comes to time management strategies for the GMAT, each student has their own strengths and core skills that directly affect the time it takes to solve the questions. To be able to determine the optimal time to do the test, you must be familiar with the concept of “Takt time”.

- If you make a wrong answer or skip 4 questions in a row, your score will decrease even more so in addition to not skipping any questions, you need to do carefully and surely 1 answer after about 2-3 uncertain questions.
Knowing GMAT test-taking principles
Understanding the principles of GMAT test-taking is one of the first steps in shortening the time to take the GMAT. There are two principles that students should apply when preparing as well as taking the GMAT test:
- Principle No.1: When practicing for the GMAT, always keep your “serious” mode on. Doing practice tests like you are doing in the test room will help students learn from their own experiences and strengths and weaknesses, and methods and tips to help speed up your test.
- Principle No.2: After you have identified your strengths and weaknesses, you will switch to “study” mode to overcome and utilize these strengths
Hopefully, by applying the time management strategies for the GMAT above, you will achieve the GMAT results you desire.
